- The archers fit to informing through including characters which are going through real life scenarios highlighting current world problems. Characters such as Mick struggling with the housing crisis shows him living in a van in the pub carpark. This makes subjects relevant to viewers overall making it more indulging and personal.
- The target audience is ABC1.
- The Archers is aimed at women by creating lots of dramatic stories which are stereotypically more indulging to females. Another way it is aimed at women is by including a very strong female matriarchy character who is seen as the main character.
- The Archers listeners listen to the program because of the social interaction they can get from things such as fan pages and social media groups. An example of this is when a influences on having a cuppa for Helen went around whilst tagging #FREEHELEN
